What is waste water?
Residual water after the various usage is called as waste water and it is generated by use of fresh water in variety of applications as in homes, sewage, industries as leather, textile, food processing and so on.
The water that is left after the various kind of usage is known as waste water when it is no longer be used as fresh water. Waste Water is classified in three sections based on their place of generation, as:
- Domestic waste water: It is generated after the home usage as from kitchen, bathrooms, shower, bathtubs, toilets, sinks, washing machines, dishwaters, gardening, cleaning and so on.
- Sewage waste water: Generated from human activities and rainwater runoff from streets and roads.
