Ideas and beliefs that are hardwired and difficult to discard from lives

Few things never change! Even after knowing and trying hard to discard few irrelevant fears and beliefs which have no proof and are baseless, we still believe on certain things in life, instinctively. These Superstitions: Hardwired Beliefs Housed All in Mind, throughout our growing years. Knowingly or unknowingly we continue to believe them because we were told so.

What are superstitions?

Superstitions are certain incidents, things and particular times that we consider inauspicious and believe that being uncareful would lead to some unseen, unfortunate, unlucky, unpleasant and unprecedented results.

We are taught so many things from the day we were born that those become part of our daily routine. It takes about three weeks for something to become hardwired into our brain. It is itched on hearts and mind. We can not change that behavior or habit and it is automatically incorporated in our DNA somehow. We pass on to next generations as well. Being a scientist or advocating Science becomes meaningless. There are still so many things that I still believe in, however silly they are and convey to my young ones too.
