We have come across various scenic landscapes in oil paintings, each are unique with different seasons, locations and tell a different story. Oil on Canvas Paintings : Landscapes from the Painter’s Perspective are original piece of art created by various artists and depicts the story of a period. One can be absorbed in the location of the oil on canvas and can imagine from artist’s view. We can gather the details of the paintings and can decipher place, location season and even mood of the artist while creating the unique piece of art at a particular time.

Beginners can start creating scenic landscapes by establishing the view and location to paint. Some painters would like to be present at the location for example at the time of sun set or sun rise or other time of the day, they choose the locations and then try to create the replica on canvas with a sketch to start with.
