Now, I understand the true meaning of Upanishad (Sacred Scriptures in Hinduism) Prayer that I used to recite daily in morning school prayer along with other kids. Just Saying [Series]-7: Let the Fire of Gaining more Knowledge, Burning is about this Sanskrit Upanishad prayer, we use to recite as kids in school. At that time, teachers taught us this Sanskrit mantra and made us, to memorize, recite and pronounce correctly. The true meaning of this Sanskrit mantra takes time to understand completely and implement in life.

|| Om Asato Ma Sadgamaya ||

|| Tamaso Ma Jyotirgamaya ||

|| Mrityor Ma Amritamgamaya ||

|| Om Shanti: Shanti: Shanti: ||

Translation:

|| Hey Almighty Lead me from Untruthfulness and Lies to Truthfulness ||

|| Lead me from Darkness of Illiteracy to Light of Knowledge and Literacy ||

||Lead me from Death and Destruction to Immortality and Moksha ||

|| Om Peace: Peace: Peace: ||

After reciting this prayer in childhood endlessly during school years it is itched in heart though deciphering…
