What is cover letter?

Cover letter is a document that accompany resume for a job position. Cover letter is a brief introduction about you to your reader and contains highlights of your achievements and skills right for the position applied for.

It shows your eagerness to fill that position and showcase your skillset appropriate for the position and how you can prove to be an asset for the organization through the position you are applying for.
