Chatbots also called as chatterbots are software programs that directly converse with live human customers/agents to communicate information and store their queries through messaging platforms. They greet human customers and take care of their emotions to some extent. Chatbots: The Empathetic Conversational Agents converse via on-line chats and text messages and text- to- speech methods.

What are Chatbots?

Computer software programs also called Chatbots or Conversational agents that communicate with human agents via automated conversations through texts and text- to- speech conversions.

Computer programs incorporate intuitive pre written texts enabling chatbots to converse with live human agents through digital devices and automated texts.

Human receive live conversation experience and receive answers to their queries instantly, in a simulated environment.

The term “Chatterbots” was coined in 1994 by Michael Mauldin, who was also creator of “Verbots” for conversational programs.
