Avocado oil is in use in the food industry for a long time now. It has been used since 20th century when it became very popular in France and Spain in 1990s. In year 2000, two New Zealand companies started producing extra virgin Avocado oil which is edible and used for cooking and in salads. Researches show that the presence of unsaturated fatty acid called Oleic acid has tremendous heart health benefits and also have anti inflammatory properties that makes it best to use, in cosmetic industry as well. Oil : 60% ; Skin: 7% ; Seed: 2%.

Avocados are used in human nutrition, food industry and cosmetic and medicinal industry.
